Learn how your earnings are calculated and what fees apply

Earnings Breakdown

Your earnings summary shows three key amounts that determine your payout:

  • Total Sales: The gross amount from all paid orders that haven't been included in a payout yet
  • Platform Fees: A 6% transaction fee deducted from your sales (covers payment processing, hosting, security, and platform maintenance)
  • Available for Payout: The net amount you'll receive after fees are deducted (Total Sales - Platform Fees)

Available for Payout:R940.00

Setting Up Bank Details
Add your bank account information to receive payouts

Required Information

To receive payouts, you need to provide the following bank account details:

  • Bank Name: Select your bank from the dropdown list of supported South African banks
  • Universal Branch Code: Automatically filled when you select your bank (no manual entry needed)
  • Account Number: Your bank account number where payouts will be deposited
  • Default Account: Set one account as default for automatic payouts (you can add multiple accounts and change the default anytime)

Setup Process:

  1. 1Navigate to Settings → Payouts
  2. 2Click "Add Bank Account" button
  3. 3Select your bank from the dropdown (branch code auto-fills)
  4. 4Enter your account number
  5. 5Toggle "Set as Default" if this is your primary payout account

Understand when you're eligible to receive payouts

Eligibility Requirements:

Bank Details Required

You must have at least one bank account added and set as default. Without bank details, payouts cannot be processed.

Minimum Threshold

Your available balance must meet or exceed the minimum payout threshold (typically R100). Amounts below the minimum will accumulate until the threshold is reached.

Paid Orders Only

Only orders that have been successfully paid by customers are included in your earnings. Pending or failed payments are not counted.

Payout has been initiated but is waiting to be processed. Usually transitions to "Processing" within 24 hours

Failed

Payout could not be completed, usually due to incorrect bank details. Update your bank information and contact support if needed

Payout Information

  • • Each payout includes a unique reference number for tracking

  • • See the net amount transferred (after platform fees)
  • • Check the date when the payout was created and processed
  • • View which orders were included in each payout

How often are payouts processed?

Payouts are processed automatically when your available balance meets the minimum threshold and you have bank details configured. There's no fixed schedule - payouts happen as soon as you're eligible.

What is the minimum payout threshold?

The minimum payout threshold is typically R100. If your available balance is below this amount, it will accumulate until it reaches the threshold. This helps reduce transaction fees and processing overhead.

Can I change my bank account details?

Yes, you can add, edit, or delete bank accounts at any time in Settings → Payouts. You can also change which account is set as default. Changes take effect for future payouts only.

What happens if a payout fails?

If a payout fails (usually due to incorrect bank details), you'll see a "Failed" status in your payout history. Update your bank account information and contact support if the issue persists. The funds remain in your account and will be included in the next payout attempt.

How are platform fees calculated?

Platform fees are calculated as 6% of the total order amount. This fee covers payment processing, secure hosting, SSL certificates, fraud protection, backups, and platform maintenance. Fees are automatically deducted before calculating your available payout amount.

Can I see which orders are included in a payout?

Yes, when you view payout details, you can see all orders that were included in that specific payout, along with the individual amounts and fees for each order.

Do I need to request payouts manually?

No, payouts are completely automatic. Once you've added your bank details and your balance meets the minimum threshold, payouts are processed automatically without any action required from you.
